Hi, guys. Just so you know, I'm not dead. D:

I've actually been very busy. Not so much with photography, but with school, friends, cheerleading, and writing. Not in that exact order, but yeah.

However, I have finally settled in enough to be ready for some pictures. Because I've been missing that particular part of me. I hate that I let it fall away.

Recently I've been watching a lot of Pocahontas. As in the Disney movie. About two or three weeks ago, I watched it on a whim, and now I have not stopped. Ask any one of my friends at school--I know all the words to all the songs, and have almost every scene memorized. I guess you could say I've rediscovered a childhood obsession.

Not that this has ANYTHING at all to do with what I just told you about, but I've come up with a few ideas for pictures. With my friends and I as the models. And guess what we're wearing. That's right. We're going to be freaking Indians.

If you can't feel my excitement radiating through the screen, you really have no soul.

And I've got sketches of outfits and makeup and hair and feathers! And I mapped out the location and am praying that it won't rain. Now I just need Laura to help me with the outfits and maybe we can have a sleepover after next weekend's football game, so everyone can help make the accessories. But that might be a little too awesome...

I'm not sure when we'll be able to do this, but I really want to. It's going to be so fun. I can't wait to get started on it. :]
